First apple painted in France (1999) then finished in the USA. Before, in Florida, I was the king of apples, painted a lot to present La France (I was a young Norman before)
Apple, sin of ADAM (with a knife, not crunchy!) Apple bitten way paradise. The tree of knowledge worthy, clean, serene.
The man Adam does not bite like that in an apple, he takes a knife and carefully cuts a neighborhood.
This is a sin properly made.
Applestrophe painting Pierre Marcel, symbol of his affection for Saint Clair sur Epte,
(95770) door of Normandy on the border of the island of France.
I love painting trees, which are almost living beings.
The Artist : Pierre Marcel Saint-Clair-sur-Epte
My public workshop is at La Salle Prieuré, 3 place Rollon, 95770 Saint Clair sur Epte. This is the historic Parisian village of the creation of Normandy, during the 911 peace treaty with the Vikings. This is how I value this peace treaty, and realize permanently (by paintings, sculptures, decorations, frescoes, Land art installations) links between the 3 regions where I am an artist in this valley of the Epte , this intersection Île de France, Normandy, Haut de France ...
Video https://youtu.be/uMHJz8t8N0Q (30 minutes) showing for several years my public social artist activities.
Volunteer activity of course, because the cultural administrations of the regions in France I bring them together in sympathy, am an activist of Peace, the inter-social. (I am also an American citizen, having started my career in Miami-Beach, Florida for 22 years, having helped to save the Miami Beach Art-Deco area)
I am interested in social news (culture, news, ecology etc ...) and local cultural heritage. This is how my figurative-conceptual painting and my installations "land art" and "Streets-art" present the artist as a possible useful and pleasant actor of his contemporary society. My Land Art and my Figurative-Conceptual Painting Style are therefore F IGUR'ACTIF public art style actions .
