Martine Rouart is a contemporary painter and sculptor born in 1934, daughter of Paul Rouart and Agate Valéry.
Painter and sculptor, she received training at the Beaux-Arts in Paris, author of a book of memories "The cook of Mallarmé".
Granddaughter of Paul Valéry, niece of Paul Gobillard and great-niece of Berthe Morisot, she spent her childhood with her grandfather, in the apartment in rue de Villejust, with walls filled with paintings by Manet, Degas , Berthe Morisot, and saw Gide, Renoir, Poulenc ....
