Valentino BESAREL 1829 / 1902
Valentino Panciera Besarel (1829 - 1902) settled in Venice in the 1860s where he opened a workshop and a boutique. He quickly distinguished himself as a designer of sculptures and furniture for wealthy private patrons and the royal courts.
The strong sculptural theme of its furniture was directly influenced by the work of the 17th century master Andrea Brustolon (1662 - 1732).
Besarel exhibited at the 1889 Universal Exhibition in Paris.
