The stylistic analysis of this pleasant painting, which represents a group of loves bearing compositions of flowers and fruits, allows us to trace his paternity to a painter of the Neapolitan school active between the 17th and 18th centuries. In particular, they are flanked by some creations in the workshop of Andrea Belvedere (Naples, 1652 - 1732) .
Especially in the years of maturity, to which the pair of canvases stylistically approach, he managed to combine the examples of the first Neapolitan naturalism with more modern and refined examples taken from the repertoire of French and German naturamortists active in Rome in the last decades of century, by being able to anticipate the evolutions of figurative culture of the 18th century.
The beautiful canvas shows all the typical stylistic elements of the artist, marked by an elegantly decorative and airy style, consisting of vivid moving putti, vases with embossed ornaments and classical architectural elements.
This representation of tender cherubs represents a true emblem of Italian Baroque pictorial poetics, centered on the decorative pleasure of these subjects, intended to replace the classic ideal of beauty with a more delicate and "capricious" grace.
These creations often saw the collaboration of two painters, one for the figures and the other for the floral arrangement, as evidenced for example by the collaboration between Andrea Belvedere and Angelo Solimena in works such as' Two putti with flower garlands '' from the Prado Museum.
Work is in excellent condition. With gilded carved wooden frame, not contemporary.
Accompanied by a certificate of photographic authenticity in accordance with the law.
